Available Pups

Before contacting us to reserve a pup for you, PLEASE read the placement terms to the left of the screen here under "purchasing a pup" it will answer a lot of questions you may have on choosing your pup, etc. Thanks!
All of our pups have been spoken for, with some, pending pick up. There will be no more available until our next "puppy season" which will not be until the fall. Our pups are usually always spoken for before they are even born. So if interested in one of our upcoming litters, just keep a watch on this page, as soon as there is a breeding we will post the informaiton here, with news of the expectant litters. We expect to have two litters sometimes in Sept that should be ready for their forever homes in Nov. We do not take names for our waiting list until breeding occurs, so just stay tuned to this page for updates as they occur.
We have recently retired Jada, Lacy and Emmy, and will be removing their photo's from the adult page and adding our new girls to the page shortly.....so, again, stay tuned to the page to see the new updates as they come about.
Thank you again for the overwhelming response to our pups!.

Thank you for your interest !, and thanks to all of the overwhelming response we had for our past litters, and for all the wonderful families that now have one of our pups!
AND REMEMBER ,,,,,,whether you get on our waiting list for a pup, or get one elsewhere, be sure and ask the breeder for references...there are so many puppy mills out there. If they offer you excuses instead of references....RUN...don't walk away from that breeder !!We are always glad to give you many references if you are seriously interested in one of our pups.
We can fly your pup for an additional fee of $275.00, this includes the crate that the airline requires which you will be able to use for several months later. We use Continental airlines when we can, as they have a very good pet flight program. The pups are not stressed by this as some seem to think, as they are started on crate training when they are 6 weeks old and have become accustomed to their crate. They wil get a new toy before flight and will play and sleep the majority of flight time. They sleep a lot at this age anyway. Payment for your pup and flight must be recevied in the form of cashiers check or money order no later than 10 days before flight time, if not, unfortunately your pup will not make the scheduled flight.WE DO NOT SEDATE THEM !
****NOTE***** When we retire our older dogs, they usually range between $400-550.00, depending on age, bloodline, etc. They are usually about 4 years old. In most cases we do not let our females have more than 3-4 litters before we retire her to a pet home...we take them to the Vet for a full health check, have a health certificate, update all shots, etc. We donate the funds received for the retiree to either one of the Cairn rescue groups or the Children's Hospital or both. This way Jim and I feel that we give back to these wonderful dogs for what they have given us through the years. This helps in providing for cairns that are not fortunate enough to have the quality of lifestyle that ours may have. It also helps with the needs for the families of children with often times devastating illnesses. Once we make sure that the placement of the retiree in her new home works out between her and her new family, we then donate the funds to these organizations and will send a copy of the donation to the family that takes the retiree. We would like to recommend that you might also consider adopting a cairn from rescue if that is feasable, realizing that many situations which placed the dog in rescue may not permit this. Rescue is not for everyone, and we ask that if you are in a position to consider this, please do so and provide the opportunity for a loving home for this wonderful breed.
A portion of the fees for our pups are also donated to the Children's hospital as well as different cairn rescue groups on an annual basis.
AKC REGISTRATION:Your pup will be AKC registered, however, there will be a restiction against breeding the pup, meaning off spring from your pup can not be AKC registered. You can participate in some of the AKC events, you just can not register any off spring. This is our way of helping to protect the breed and the champion blood line, as well as discourage breeding by those other than experienced, reputable breeders. We want our pups to go to loving family homes, and not be sought for the purpose of breeding. We can lift the restriction with AKC for show purposes, should you want to show your pup in the AKC show rings.
WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE COLOR...We can only tell you what color we feel they will be, based on the coloring of the parents. Most of the time if you put two creams together, you will get a cream. If you put a black brindle and a wheaten or a cream together, you can get a variation of colors, but more than likely brindle colors. If you put two black brindles together, you will get black brindles. Cairns can change colors through the years, and though we have only had one (Molly) to do this, I find it interesting and one of the many attractions to the breed for me. Molly was a cream with dark tips and mask until she was 3, then she started getting some brindling through her cream body, it's very nice looking.
